Message-ID: <6280@mindlink.bc.ca> Date: 14 Jun 91 23:08:03 GMT Organization: MIND LINK! - British Columbia, Canada Lines: 15 I am trying to chain a wd 93044-a and a teac sd340 ide drive together. At the moment I have the wd as drive C and the teac as the slave drive,on the teac there is a set of 4 jumpers and going from the left(looking at the rear of drive) I have jumper 1 shorted,2 open and 3 and 4 shorted. At the moment my computer recognises the drive C but says there is an error with drive D.The Teac is a 40 meg drive but how many cylinders does it have and what type of drive should i set it up as under the latest version of AMI bios,my C drive is set up as type 17. Thanks! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Bell uunet!van_bc!rsoft!mindlink!a1076 Benndorf-Verster a1076@mindlink.uucp Vancouver Canada voice 604-853-5870 -------------------------------------------------------------------
