What does the POST error:

4090 201 

-or- 

40D0 201 

mean? The machine is a IBM PC (not XT) with the 256K
motherboard and CGA. It beeps once, then hangs on 
reading the DOS diskette. If no diskette is present, 
it goes into ROM basic.
