I don't know what the shell is passing to the command line, but DOS returns with "bad command or file name". This happens whether I use "Open," "Run..." or various mouse clicking alternatives. It doesn't matter whether I specify a full pathname or not or whether the file is being selected from a directory or a "program group". The only way (so far) that I can get a program to run is if I call up a DOS prompt (shift+f9) or exit DOSSHELL :-) Any ideas? Rich
