Message-ID: <4097@ksr.com> Date: 18 Jun 91 18:44:52 GMT Sender: news@ksr.com Distribution: na Organization: Kendall Square Research Corp. Lines: 16 Could someone tell me the relative speed difference between these two cards? Orchid Prodesigner IIs and Diamond Speedstar+ I know the Orchid IIs is supposed to be 25% faster than the Orchid II, putting it in the ballpark of the Diamond Speedstar... Does anyone know which DAC's they use? I heard that the 512K IIs has 256/16.7M colors and the 1M IIs has 32K/16.7M colors. I'm pretty sure the Speedstar+ has 256/256K colors with CEG and 32K/256K color options... Finally, what non-interlaced refresh rates do they support? I know the Speedstar+ supports 70Hz at 1024x768 and 800x600, 256 colors... Thanks for any info. Ken (kenyee@ksr.com or uunet!ksr!kenyee)
