Then it was just an idea; now it's a *need.* Has anyone used QuedM's macros to create a summary of text files in one or more folders? I'm dealing with plain ascii files that all have a few lines of summary information, then a comprehensive lead paragraph. I'd like to copy the file _names_ followed by the first 10 lines of the file into one master document (call it an "abstract" or whatever). With QuedM's macro capability and it's file "catalog" feature, I suspect this is possible. Unfortunately, my manual is hiding somewhere and I haven't had time to search it out. Maybe tonight...
