Think 'C' has a function call of the simplest sort:
 
     Debugger ()
 
That takes you to Macsbug.  If you include an argument of a /Pascal/-type string, you'll get a display of your own choosing -- I can't remember if it shows up in an alert or if the debugger displays it.
