Does ANYONE out there use the JetWriter product from Insight 
Development/Extended Systems to hook up a Laserjet IIP to their Mac? I have 
been having SEVERE problems with mine under System 7 and Extended has been 
absolutely no help at all.
No matter what I do, documents take ~10min per page to print at high quality 
. Under System 6, it printed at ~1min per page. My HP IIP status display 
shows that information is being sent to the printer in bursts, about a 
minute apart.
I do *not* have $800 to spend on a new printer. What do I do?
 
I've heard that there are software drivers that let you run the IIP. Are 
they fast enough for me to consider them?
