I don't have 32-bit addressing mode, but I have reproduced it on a Mac II and
Mac SE, with and without VM, and with extensions disabled.  You probably can't
reproduce it on the IIfx because it's too damn fast :-).

I re-initialized the system partition on the II before installing 7.0.  The SE
install was done on top of 6.05, using the installer-- the SE had never been
in contact with an earlier 7.0
