Message-ID: <10560@pitt.UUCP> Date: 18 Jun 91 12:21:01 GMT Sender: news@cs.pitt.edu Reply-To: andre@cs.pitt.edu () Distribution: usa Organization: Univ. of Pittsburgh Computer Science Lines: 22 i know this has been discussed to death, but i didn't think to archive the results. so, one more time: 1) i have a mac II with 8 meg, coprocessor, lots 'o inits, macsbug, i use resedit and think c and basically push the machine as much as possible. i'm currently running 6.0.4 which doesn't crash too often. i tried 6.0.5 and started crashing a lot (almost everytime i had a number of applications in memory and was futzing with resedit). should i stay with 6.0.4 or will i be safe to go to 6.0.7? (i would like to install true type). 2) same question but with a mac+, 4 meg, no coprocessor and i have yet to try 6.0.5 on the plus thanks. -andre. -- Andre Srinivasan :"If you ain't bleeding, you ain't working." 317 MIB : - Pete The Master Tombstone Cutter U. of Pittsburgh :"If it bleeds, we can kill it." andre@cs.pitt.edu : - Arnold Schwarzenager
