He complains it is slow in launching files (though a bit faster after I turned off file sharing--which isn't an acceptable solution) and extremely slow in printing, compared to when it was running system 6.04. (Yes, I upgraded all the printers in the network to the system 7 laserprinter driver; so that's not the cause.) Can anyone suggest thinks to check which might be slowing down his Mac so much?
