We need to separate a subnet with NeXT machines from a backbone
to which they connect. For this reason we wuold prefer to by
a 2nd Ethernet controller instead of an expensive router. Is there
any product out there?

Since the backbone on our Class B net runs with netmask 255.255.0.0
we need to proxyarpd on this machine. I havn't tried to look at 
a Berkeley yet, but has anybody got this to work?
