I got eyestrain from the monitor which came with our PI. The replacement cost less than half as much as SGI Australia charge for their PI monitors, and we had no trouble selling our SGI monitor to another site. The effect: an upgrade for only a couple of hundred dollars, and I can now get two 80-column windows side-by-side and still be able to read the text! -jeremy DISCLAIMER: I have no association with SGI or NEC, other than as a customer. I speak for myself, not my employer. -- -- Jeremy Webber ACSnet: jeremy@chook.ua.oz Digital Arts Film and Television, Internet: jeremy@cs.adelaide.edu.au 3 Milner St, Hindmarsh, SA 5007, Voicenet: +61 8 346 4534 Australia Papernet: +61 8 346 4537 (FAX)
