I have placed a beta copy of Ispell version 3.0 on ftp.cs.ucla.edu.
The file is pub/ispell/ispell.tar.Z.  This version contains only the
program sources;  I am not including dictionaries in this beta
posting.

Since this is a beta copy, you should expect it to have a few bugs.
If you report bugs to me, with or without fixes, I will add you to the
beta-testers list and forward future bug fixes to you.  (This is my
way of keeping the forwarding list short).

Ispell version 3.0 is an internationalized, interactive spelling
checker.  Unlike Unix "spell", it handles both nroff and TeX sources,
suggests corrections, edits your corrections into the file, and
maintains a personal dictionary.  An emacs interface is also provided.
In addition, it should be able to handle any European language for
which you have a word list.
