Subject: pulling WordPerfect ps into PcTeX

I'm trying to bring in WordPerfect v5.1 (Apple LaserWriter) postscript
files into a TeX document with \special using PcTeX v2.931 and ptips v2.04.
No dice -- just a blank space on the page. Other ps files work fine, so I
assume there's something nasty in the WordPerfect ps causing it to choke.
I am *not* a ps person so I'm asking the world ... has anyone tackled this 
problem before?
