After we used the patch, login time is shortened VERY much. Julie responded, together with my head SA, Dennis Micheal, a patch was worked out and now even with over 9600 active accounts in our yp passwd file, our RISC 6000s DO NOT have long login delay problems. Most of the time it's as fast as other machines, only occationally it's bearably slow. If IBM keeps getting good people like Julie, man! SUN/DEC/HP will be in trouble :-) I post this to complement these nice and helpful IBM software develpers like Julie. Good job. Thanks.
