If the file system you mount has no facilities for setuid/setgid files then they can't be a problem. For example if an amiga dos filesystem was created for amiga unix, the mode bits could be set to some default, with the amiga bits being mapped to the 'other' mode bits. For more security the mode bits could be set so only the owner of the mount point can access the floppy, with the 'user' mode bits set from the amiga access bits.
