I couldn't find a newsgroup that deals with this kind of problem, this
is probably the closest thing I can try(Please tell me if there is
a better newsgroup for this topic).

Does any network guru out there know any "bibles"/cookbook/handbook
for locating and solving network failures(both hardware and software) in a 
campus network environment(Ethernets/Novell/TCP/IP)?
