I use a product called DragonDictate for voice input into the computer. It is a large vocabulary system with 30,000 words on line at all times. Of these 30,000 words 25,000 have a matching voice print the remaining 5,000 are words that can be added to the vocabulary with up to 1000 keystrokes. This can be very useful for repetitive types of entry. It is speaker dependent but it adapts to the user's voice very quickly. It requires a 386 or better machine with at least 8 megabytes of RAM. In addition to the 30,000 words there is also the Random House Dictionary consisting of 80,000 words on line at all times. If you are a terrible speller like I am this is a great tool since I don't have to look up the word in the dictionary. I have also seen a product called ZOOM TEXT that helps low vision user's. I hope that this helped. Frank. -- Via Opus Msg Kit v1.12 -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!261!1000.0!Frank.Whitney Internet: Frank.Whitney@p0.f1000.n261.z1.fidonet.org
