You gave me reading rates--and this will be helpful along with other information to determine which to read. My concerns are about those studies: a. The attitude of the people doing the testing/teaching; and b. the techniques used to read Braille. I would still like more information about the samples used--both print and Braille readers. I do know that myself and others who are adults have been tested and given comprehension tests and read much faster than the rates in the studies indicate. thanks so much for all your efforts!!!
