About support groups. Well, one could say that sighted folks go to support groups and feel as though the group's unfriendly. Now, don't tell us anything real personal--let's see--uh, figure out if you can change groups--in other words--to same type of group but different people. that's one suggestion. that goes for anyone, I think. It is sometimes harder for a group to feel that a blind or disabled (other disabilities) person can "fit in." Most groups are okay, though, from my own experience and from the experiences of other blind people.
