at least you never walked right off the platform like i did! my
guide dog walked me right off the darned edge in atlanta. all i
could think of was that third rail! i ca2led the school the next
day. they wanted to know if i gave the dog a stiff correction. i
let loose a few choice vowels. <grin> no, i kept the damned dog,
but used a cane when in unfamiliar areas after that. the old
mutt is retired now and is eleven and a half. yes, she went into
the blankety blank subway pit with me. some one fished us out. i
had a sore rear for a while. <grin>
