Henry, I just happen to know someone with a talking scientific calculator, but although portable, it is not hand-held by today's standards. It is basically an HP scientific calculator that sits on top of a DigiVoice unit, and it was purchased from Science Products in Philadelphia for about $600 in 1983. Although I am sure there are more affordable and better options available to you now, if you're interested, I'll act as your negotiator and see what she will settle for.
