Well, I don't run the relaynews daemon, but I run stock Cnews patch
date 24-Mar-1991.  I also run nntp, version 1.5.11.

I have several sites that I feed news from and to.  I have cases such as;

Send partial via nntp and the rest via UUCP to a site

send all UUCP to a site

Receive all from a NNTP site

send all to a NNTP site.

I think that pretty well covers the bases.  :-)
