I called Wilson's about it and they said to file the barrel link with some particular file. I never heard of the type of file so I found something in my toolbox. I screwed up the barrel link trying to file it. I filed more than possibly could be needed to be filed and the same thing happened (slide not going into battery). I ordered a barrel link only and figured I would need to go to a gunsmith to have it installed. The barrel link faced the proper direction. Go figure. Jim Bessette att!corona!jeb
