A narrow front post for AR-15. One of the usual mods to a rack grade M1A is to replace the front blade and rear aperture with NM components. So where I can I get at least the skinny front for an AR-15? Some friends claim they have seen them advertised but could not remember where. A random check around the range the other day reveals that in fact there seems to be a wide (and potentially unintended) variety in widths anyway. At worst I'll buy a couple normal units and attack them with a dremmel tool but .... 2. A good scope mount for the M1A. I'd like to have an easily attachable/ detachable mount (ideally one that would maintain zero throughout, though I suspect I'm dreaming), something rugged too. My objective is to use the optical sights to help understand some groups on the rifle as I tune up some hand loads ... and the iron sight picture still isn't quite as precise for me as a nice Leupold vari-X III ... So what do you in netland think? For that matter, should I also look for something other than the Leupold, just for grins? 3. A good bore guide for an AR-15. I'm tired of having my nice, home-cut cotton patches fall off before I can get them as far as the chamber. Anyone know off hand if Sinclair makes one with their O-ring configuration in the chamber? Thanks, as always ... Jim
