I hope that no one is inferring from this that this makes it safer from the standpoint of firing without an adequate backstop. *ANY* solid projectile has enough range to go far enough that you won't know what or who is where it lands. PERIOD. Normally when one speaks of a particular cartridge not having much range it refers to the range at which it can be placed *accurately.* It does *not* mean that it won't injure or kill on the other side of that hill or in your neighbor's yard or living room.
