Reposted-by: emv@msen.com (Edward Vielmetti, MSEN) I see that prep has a gcc-vms.tar.Z, which contains a version of gcc 1.39 for VMS. The readme files point out that this version has many advantages over the "previous" gcc-vms distribution. There is also a version on rdss.ucar.edu (pointed to by /pub/gnu/etc/FTP on prep) which has the convenient feature that it is packaged as a VMS save set. Is this version the same as the one on prep, or is it the "previous" version, or something in a separate evolutionary chain? Thanks for any info, Dave Cottingham dc@cobi.gsfc.nasa.gov -- MSEN Archive Service file verification prep.ai.mit.edu -rw-r--r-- 1 14910 wheel 1049477 Apr 4 12:37 /pub/gnu/gcc-vms.tar.Z found gcc-vms ok prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu/gcc-vms.tar.Z
