The T1600 is more expensive, and Telebit in the past (at least with my dealings) have been friendly on the phone, but on the other hand they wanted to charge me for firmware upgrades - while USR has ALWAYS provided me FREE firmware upgrades. Both companies have 800 support. Let's face it, since USR has been shipping v.32bis now for 8 months - they have most of the bugs worked out - where as telebit is just jumping on the bandwagon. Will telebit be raising the retail price of the T1600 when v.32bis is included? -- Larry Snyder, NSTAR Public Access Unix 219-289-0287/317-251-7391 HST/PEP/V.32/v.32bis/v.42bis regional UUCP mapping coordinator {larry@nstar.rn.com, ..!uunet!nstar.rn.com!larry}
