I was wondering if some kind soul could explain some things for me. I am using Rayshade right now to generate raytraced scenes. Now to generate things like spheres and cubes and all the primatives are pretty...primative. My question is what do people use to create large- scale, complicated objects? Some sort of CAD program and translate it into Rayshade scene file? I would like to create some sort of space ship and generate a few space scenes. Does anyone have spaceships, or any suggestions on how to create one with a CAD program and translate it into Rayshade scene files? In a similar vein, does anyone know what system and software Industrial Light and Magic use to generate the space scenes for Star Trek: The Next Generation? Boy, that would be a nice ship to have the points for... Thanks alot... Cameron Esfahani
