In our Department we are looking for a versatile graphics package for IBM-compatible computers. We would like the package to be able to: 1. plot to data points; 2. plot smooth curves to data points; 3. fit curves to data; 4. plot mathematical functions; 5. be able to add things to the graph, such as arrows, lettering, etc; 6. use scientific and Greek symbols. The main use is for scientific work. If anyone has any package they can recommend, I would be grateful to hear from them. Thanks in advance, Ian Johnson. email: ijohnson@gara.une.oz.au
