FidoNet's SDS (software distribution system) recieved a half completed MS DOS port of 30. Blyth spirit here completed the port, made it 25% more efficient, and added a few small improvements that should go back into distribution. I even worked hard to make the Ms. Dos spacific additions transparent to a recompile on an Uxish compiler... Today, while investigating some user reported odd behavior, I discovered that the source used was older than documents, which listed the corrections to this behavior! I started cussing in chinese! The docs reference: prep.ai.mit.edu:/u2/emacs/gnuchess-3.00.tar.Z likely an old file name^^^^^^^^^^^^ as the location, but I have no access to the unix file distribution system, or tar for that matter. My access to this conference is 3 times removed from internet. The ideal solution to my problem would be reference to a fidonet node, that allows file requests.
