sun3 running SunOS4.1.1. That is, when I do loading (after compiling),
I get the following errors:

     ld: ../lsp/defmacro.o: bad secondary magic number
*** Error code 4
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `raw_kcl'
Current working directory /home/jupiter/yang/kcl/unixport
*** Error code 1

  To my knowledge, it has something to do with the *data files*,  
the lisp data from compiling lisp source files. These data files are
appended (cat) at the end of object file before loading.

  I would be very glad if someone would please help me.
