Is there anything else I should do? The problem is an nfs bug. .../hints/ultrix_4.sh advises ignoring the error if using an nfs mounted filesystem. It happened to me and to be safe I copied the distribution to my decstation instead of having it nfs mounted and sure enough the bug went away.
