Sometimes point and click is fun, but mostly it gets in the way. Elm is something I use many, many times a day, everyday; it didn't take me long to learn the keys. Besides, I like to whip through mail without any cumbersome commands to waste typing on nor complicated screen graphics which fill up the screen or slow the program down. If you add menus, please add a way to shut them off. Other issues: I would like to see one minor, little function added to the builtin pager, a way to page up instead of just down. You could use the Delete button, like nn does. (In fact, nn and elm look so similar, that I sometimes confuse the buttons). Also, for the esc button debate, how about making ^G the escape button (again, like nn).
