I believe my original suggestion was to EITHER include a simple editor, or suggest one in the docs/README. I do see the point that including an editor would make the distribution larger, and that many people don't want to use a different editor from the one they use now. I also would NEVER suggest (as some people have inferred) that Elm not allow the user to select his/her own editor. A better approach might be for the Elm development group to write a small editor (VERY simple) that has an interface consistant with Elm and post it separately.
