Message-ID: <1991Jun22.005027.22488@panix.uucp> Date: 22 Jun 91 00:50:27 GMT Followup-To: news.sysadmin Organization: PANIX - Public Access Unix Systems of NY Lines: 21 To all those who have written to us about our former user, Josh Reznick: I would like to apologize for his bad behavior. We do _NOT_ condone the posting or mailing of chain letters. His account has been removed, and it is extremely unlikely that it will be reinstated at any point in the future. I remember, just a month ago, sending a very annoyed note to the postmaster at ucb (or uc-something) about one of their users sending this exact same letter. So I am doubly ashamed that this should happen here at our site. We try to make sure that all our users understand issues of net policy and ettiquette (not to mention _our_ policy) before we give them accounts. This one just got away from us, and we're sorry. For whatever it's worth, I've cancelled the article. (Followups to news.sysadmin. But I hope there won't be any. Please.) --- Alexis Rosen Owner/Sysadmin, PANIX Public Access Unix, NY alexis@panix.com {cmcl2,apple}!panix!alexis
