A program called BOOTSAVE.COM (written by Roedy Green and posted in the BIX ibm.utils listings as BOOTSAVE.ZIP) can save your boot sector before you install MS-DOS 5.0, and can restore it after Microsoft trashes it. Special thanks to "jdgressett" on bix for bringing my attention to this nifty utility - it sure saved my day! I imagine it could also be used to save your pre-Coherent boot sector so that you could remove the "Mark Williams" message after you remove Coherent from your hard disk. I could post the program here (in uuencoded form) if folks were interested. Or perhaps I could mail it to folks individually (I do not recall the resolution of the tetris source code issue). PS: I am having a little trouble with uuencode - any hints? Dave Abercrombie abe@wet.UUCP
