References: Sender: Followup-To: Distribution: world Organization: University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Keywords: I am interested in finding the immunity OS/2 has to viruses when compared to DOS systems and/or DOS systems with Windows. I have noticed that the virus 'fighting' programs available for DOS are pretty much nonexistent for OS/2--is this due to the fact that OS/2 is pretty much immune to viruses because normally one cannot 'screw' with the operating system too much? Are there any documents/file concerning virus problems and/or the relative immunity of OS/2 out there? What experience has anyone had with viruses in shareware and its ilk?
