The recommended monitor in the IBM product line is the 8515. 14" screen, 0.28 mm dot pitch. I've used two of them. One has satisfactory focus (though slightly soft toward the corners) but rather poor convergance. The other has satisfactory convergance, but the focus is quite poor in the corners, most noticeably in the red gun and in the lower left corner, where an 'S' in virtually indistinguishable from an '8'. With monitors being used for ever-increasing resolutions, quality control will become more and more important, and I think IBM needs to do a better job with their 8515s.
