I have a freind at Award Software (purveyors of fine PC BIOS) who is the Tech Support Manager there. He told me it is the official position of Award software not to use LHARC. The main reason is that they've built archives and then unarced them on the same machine and wound up with damaged archives. I have not been terribly pleased with the LHARC format myself. I have recommened to Michael that the ZOO format would be a better choice for a number of reasons. Portability being the primary one. Cheers!
