Project Athena uses a Kerberized POP3 in a number of
clients; MH, XMH, Gnuemacs RMAIL, and the Andrew mail
reader.

A server based on the Berkeley "popper" with Kerberos
support added can be obtained from net-dist.mit.edu
(18.72.0.3) in /pub/Berkeley-Popper.  Pard of the README
file from that directory follows:
