I have written such a beast and am making it available for anonymous ftp. TELNETD Facts: - consumes about 100K of pc memory - works over packet drivers - uses ASCII config files (no device drivers or config.sys mods) - can use BOOTP - supports up to 10 local gateways - supports non-contingenous subnet bits - allows most PC keystrokes to be easily enterred from VT100 and VT220 terminals - brief online help can be popped up - converts PC characters to similar ASCII characters ** - not perfected yet FTP to sunee.uwaterloo.ca [129.97.128.196] and get pub/wattcp/telnetd.zip The zip file is about 27K. Some terse documentation is included Erick
