I few weeks back I flamed FTP Inc. for never contacting users about anything.

Well, a copy of a newletter aptly named "news@ftp" just showed, and it looks
like they did a creditable job of a newsletter.

Very slick publishing job. Isn't exactly what I asked for, but is 
a big step forward that deserves a lot of applause.
