I second the offline suggestion. Remember that we are dealing with limited economies. I am working with Dr. Duane Metzger, who is working with the BESTR network out of SDSU. The intent is to link up Spanish and English speakers on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. A problem for many is the cost of the telephone line. We hope to combine available software to enable people to log on, automatically download any new messages in the conferences they follow, then log off and hang up. The messages could then be edited, replies written, followed by a log on and automated up-load. Wish us luck! -Jim Hess-
