I am interested in examples of VGA setup, communication with the adapter (setting and unsetting pixels), and exit/cleanup code which restores text mode properly. I would like to do this in such a manner as that it would be fairly portable to other i386 systems. I have been attempting to do a little bit of this type of programming, however once I get the machine into graphics mode, I cannot get it to do exactly what I want :-) Any information would be greatly appreciated. -- Mike Mitchell Email: mdm@cocktrice.uucp 2020 Calle Lorca #43 Phone: (505) 471-7639 H Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505 (505) 473-4482 W
