   I don't agree (do I ever agree? :-)  Remember, there are an awful lot
of icon-making tools available, most of them easy enough for the novice
to use.  I have found that most of the big icons I've come across were
created for icon-less Shareware and PD programs by the librarians of Amiga
user group software libraries.

   At any rate, large icons will always exist, as long as the Amiga's 
Workbench allows them.  There is no way anyone is going to prevent people
from making large icons for their programs from the many tools available,
so the best way to take care of the problem with large icons is to include
a feature in the Workbench menus similar to the MAC's "Show By Small Icon"
menu option.
