I like the entire icon being dragged, it looks way better, the same way dragging the entire window on the NeXT looks cool. Drag and drop, can and does work on the Amiga. I have had no problem drag and dropping icons on the Amiga. The icons are big and it's easy to get the mouse pointer inside one. It would be a problem it icons were 4 pixels big, but it isn't. Don't Macify my Amiga, no thank you. Although highlighting is a nice idea, it makes no difference since Amiga icons are solid (not outlines) so you wouldn't be able to see if the icon is highlighted anyway. Look at the icons in AmigaVision once, they would look _stupid_ if they were drag as outlines. The next generation UI being developed at Xerox PARC takes this one step further, they have animated icons since animation provides more information in less screen real estate.
