My sister is in the navy and went to Japan, "PI" among other ports in eastern asia during Westpack. Anyway she found a JVC reciever in Japan for ~$280 US. In the PI it was $220. I suppose here in NYC I could find it anywhere between $200-$350, depending on where I looked and when. Someone commented about the previa costing $7000 more in Japan than in the US.
