For Amiga GUI, we have something call "IconX" which, may be less straight forward than the Mac's alias, it will effectively do the same thing, plus more for document specific scripts. Oh, Amiga DOES NOT need a lot of desktop space compared to Mac, as we have screens, which a lot of Mac users still not quite understand... - Morris
