Huntsville, AL Lines: 13 Whoa! wait a minute! Some one stated that Merkur cars were not well received by the US consumer. This was due to "unreliability"? The Scorpio was chosen European Car of the Year when introduced. The Merkur is very popular in Germanic countries. In fact, Ford is among the top five car countries in Europe (Sorry, do not haver the figures handy). ANY of you people from Europe?
